Gripweed Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 I haven't had a chance to play the game yet, and I know it's new, but does anyone know if they have any plans to add any more species to the eight already available. I'm just curious if they are planning to do this before perhaps 2004. Thank You.

It is not sure how many, since it depends on how 'different' the new species would be, and a species that looks very humanoid is easier to code. But anything from 1 to 3 new species, I'd guess.
myndreach Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 during beta we did a poll to let the beta testers decide the race that would be added in the space expansion, i think the Chiss was the winner. They are blue skinned human-like aliens with red eyes, ala Admiral Thrawn. I wanted the aqualish (walrus people from a new hope), but they were last i think on the list heh.
