Dark Trooper Phase 2 Drawing Contest

This is for those with artistic and drawings abilities, who can't make models, either cuz you don't own a 3d editor or you don't have the knowledge.

 

As I'm finishing the Dark Trooper Phase 1 model (available to download at my website's forums) I'm starting to draw conceptual sketches of the Phase 2.

 

I know there are a lot of excellent artists out there, so if you wish to contribute or collaborate with this new model, here is what I propose:

 

- Make drawings of the dark trooper phase 2 from all the angles you wish. Separate body parts are allowed, so If you feel like making 10 different concepts of the helmet alone its ok with me, I'll see and analize them all. You can post the images here or send them right to cortomaltes@arnet.com.ar.

 

- You can base your concepts on anything you like, of course maintaining a line of design coherent with the actual DF's phase 2.

 

- Do not post pictures or sprites of the original game, comics or websites. I have them all and I'll erase or ignore mails containing that.

 

The best combo will be used to make the final model that you'll see on the Dark Forces MOD. The deadline is 1 month, after then I'll start modelling the robot based on what I have or what I like. The makers of the best combo will receive the full credit for concept art and original idea.

 

The model will come out anyway, even if I do it like I think it should be in 3d, but I thought it would be nice to make it based on others work, fans or artists.
