Microsith
Does the rendering for the water in the game require a feature in a geforce 3 or later card ? I have played with the water settings but it still looks like EQ water .
Baphomet
Yes, you must have a DX9.0 compliant card.
toolfan
and more importantly you need a graphics card with pixel shading to get that awsome looking water effect that you have probably seen in screen shots of SWG. other games that make great use of pixel shading are morrowind and Super Mario Sunshine, you should see the water in Super Mario Sunshine if you havent already, it looks almost completely real because of the great use of Pixel Shading done in that game. JediMasterEd
I have the same graphics card. Curious, do all GeForce 3 or 4 cards support Directx 9.0 or is it just select ones? If so, are any of them that are 64MB or is it all 128MB+ that support it? I was looking into upgrading my graphics card and memory anyway that's less than $100.
