Could you tell me more about combat?

No need to point and click so much. You just need to initate combat with the target with simple button click. After that the character fights for himself, you don't need to to anything if you want to. But there are things you can do. You can run around, kneel, prone (affecting aim). Then you can que up special attacks. Press for example the /bodyshot2 button 5 times and the char will perform these 5 special attacks in a row. You can also have the char throw diffrent sorts of traps if you're a scout.

All things you want to do during combat ques up. So if you press the special attacks 6 times the character can't heal himself before those attacks have been performed.

The fighting isn't like in a FPS like Quake, JediKnight where your skills behind the keyboard matter the most.

No.

It's not like an FPS.

This is an RPG. That means, you decide what to shoot at, but the characters skills (not yours) is the determening element if you will win or not. You can que up some special moves, like:

Aiming, which will increase you chance of hitting, but takes alittle longer to preform than just letting the character blast away. Best used at longer range.

Point Blank Single, which will make your character concentrated more on the target to fire on it. Again takes alittle, but just alittle, more time than letting it blast away, but the accuracy will improve.

Point Blank Area, same as above, but firing at muliple enemies.

Leg Shot, for carbines, which will drain from the Action pool.

Head Shot, for the rifles, which will drain from the Mind pool.

Body Shot, for the Pistol, which will drain from the Health pool.

And many many more special moves.

You can still move around and stuff.

aww i was hoping it would be like a 3rd person shooter. kinda like how u shoot in Hitman 2. u have move around and aim using the mouse and click the mouse to fire. i think that would have been better so u can run around and are not set to having to fight u can automatically run away if ur in to deep.

Yes, but that is drawing from your skills, not your characters skill, now doesn't it. :)

That's what seperates an RPG and an FPS.

And who said you couldn't run away?

Just start running the other way, and hit burstrun while you're at it, to get away quicker. :D

well they can break it down if they would have made it a 3rd person shooter like Hitman 2. to where if rated ur accuracy. and how many kills. or so on. of course when its live action instead of u hitting commands it takes a little more skill with the mouse but its also more realistic cuz u can freely aim and u have to be more precise and the more precise u are the more ur XP's go up.

But then again, that's not RP is it. :)

You're not roleplaying someone else then are you. You're just you. :)

FPS is actually less realistic than the RP system.

When you find people as accurate in real life as you do under such stressfull enviroments as in an FPS, then you can come and tell me this. ;)
