That's funny, I always thought EFMI was Lucas Arts adventure game. It was a game of an adventure style, I didn't think much else was needed. And I wouldn't say The Dig was it's last decent adventure game, it was hella good, but can't beat Grim Fandango.

I do get annoyed though with people who refuse to acknowldge poor games. I mean, just because something you don't like comes along, doesn't give you the right to stick your fingers in your ears and ignore it.
