another_trooper Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Matt-Windu and some other ppl (probably) wanted to change the system, so matt started working on the battle system and decided to give away tons of points to ppl. Honestly, I dont like the battle system, because theres the ppl who play too much and the ppl who just dont play. Nothing for ppl who want to play from time to time.

I never actually did anything with mine, but having a whole bunch of them (over 1000) just sitting there rather helped my image. ^^ Not too sure about this Battle Hack thing. I took a glance at it, got confused by the concept of buying weapons with no money, saw some threads in which people got killed, and then proceeded to run the hell away.

But there is no way I'm playing some Net RPG thing to get points. I may be a geek, but I still have my limits.

But now that you've pointed it out, it's magically disappeared! ... or perhaps I'm just horribly unobservant. Whatever. Well, that is stupidity in extreme amounts (sorry to any mods listening, but the truth hurts). I paid good points for my glow, as did Vostok and near everyone else. And they take away the entire points system, not to mention already-existing bonuses gained from points, because of a few isolated incidents of abuse of a single feature? Does anyone else see the slight flaw in logic there?

swphreak Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 They said they're waiting til VB3 is out a while before installing it, to make sure any major bugs are fixed. And if they upgrade to VB3, the battle hack won't work. Unless someone were to rewrite the entire codie to work with VB3....
