RalKon Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 I am putting in lava into my map... this is a MP FFA map btw.... the shader works excellent for it, but I cant get the trigger hurt to work correctly... I want the lava to take damage after a period of time... say maybe 25HP ever 2 seconds rather than being an almost instantaneous kill.... so I put an extra brush right at the top of my lava, covered it with the trigger texture, set it to trigger hurt, brought up the entity menu and have tried everything that I can see that would slow the process... everything I have tried has failed.... Does anyone know how to correct this??? or is it possible to enter a code into the shader that would do this process for me??? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lil Killa Posted July 31, 2003 Share Posted July 31, 2003 for the hp part add a key of dmg and a value of 25 for the wait part try checking the "slow" box. I think there is another way but i can remember it. EDIT: I would recomend making the dmg level low like 2 or 5 since the damage is soo fast.... I jumped over to GTKradiant and found the slow option that you were speaking of.... I cant use GTKradiant much however as it requires more video ability than I have on my computer; therefore textures do not show up in the map like they should... they look blocky... anyway, enuf of my babbling... thank you again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
