Total NOOB question about .cfg

O.K., please don't laugh at me but I have a real simple question.

 

I have a mod that I downloaded and I have run before but I can't remember how I made it work before. It's a .cfg file that allows you to bind each Saber Stance to a particular key rather than scrolling through all three styles each time you need them.

 

Do I copy this file into the "GameData" or "base" folder and then how do I get it to "run" once I'm in the game??

 

I can't believe I had this figured out before but since reinstalling the game and getting back into it I've completely forgotten how it's done.

I BELIEVE you put it in your base folder.

 

I KNOW, that to run it once in game you type in the console "exec cfgfile.cfg" and press enter. You may have to bind the keys yourself depending on the script.
