How long will we have to wait for tools?

For those of you in the know . . .

 

I know it is basically the same engine as Outcast but will we have to wait long for the GTK Radiant tools to be updated for JA? Has there been any mention?

No clue but Raven has saided that they will be using the same system for releasing modding tools. Meaning that we'll probably see modding tools fairly soon after release.

All releases, including modding tools, must go through Activision QA, even though it is unsupported.

 

However, an entities list shouldn't be hard to construct for mappers, and it is the same BSP format as JO, so a lot of mapping can be done before the official release without any 'reverse engineering'.

 

As far as code, from the sounds of it, we'll have MP again this time, but that's cool because MP reportedly won't blow goats this time.

 

I'm really hoping Seige takes off.
