Ive heard JKA is going to play a lot like JK2 1.04, why? The 1.03 patch an 1.04 have only taken away good moves an made everything weak. They just patched away moves that didnt need fixing.

In JK2 1.02 EVERY move has a perfectly good counter if your smart enough to find it. 1.03 and 1.04 just dimished the game removing good offensive moves/combinations which then eliminated the need for good defensive skills, decreasing the gameplay 2 fold.

Don't believe everything you read. We already know from the developer that lightsaber combat has been a key focus of development for the game, with lots of additional animations, moves and tweaks. We also know that the different MP modes, like Duel and Deathmatch, will have slightly different damage ratios where the lightsaber is concerned, which suits those styles of play. So the faster-paced frag-fests of FFA will have higher saber damage, while Duel mode will have slightly lower damage ratios to ensure some intense lightsaber battles.

 

Make no mistake, Raven have taken on a lot of feedback from the community, and made every effort to make the lightsaber combat in SP and MP as similar as possible, while also making the combat appropriate for the differing styles of play.

 

Let's just wait and see how it plays, before judging it. ;)
