foolish question about bio's

I would like to put a bio for my character. The Holocron says to simply click in the Bio box and type the Bio. No matter where I click in the Bio box or on the word Bio, it puts what I type at the bottom box (under the Spatial, combat, group tabs) and it comes out my characters mouth when I'm done and hit enter. Could someone help this foolish old man and tell him what part he's missing? Thanks

Go to the Ctrl+P menu and select the Character tab. Enter the text in the Bio box there.
