I tend to disagree with you, Bee: in America, people are lazy, simply put. We don't really care who runs our government (note that the word "we" is used in lieu of "the majority of Americans"), and so anyone that has enough money to run a television add and who hasn't committed any major crimes can get elected.

So, if someone in this country actually wanted to run for office because they were sick of the current situation, I'd have to disagree with you. Besides that, you're right: those that seek power are generally the ones who shouldn't have it.

The first thing that I wrote was in first person, too. It allows you to get into the person's head, but at the expense of getting into the others' heads.

Ah, curse my terrible Mandarin! D: If only I could remember what "ming bai" meant. I know what they mean individually (moon and white, respectively, if I'm right), but I don't remember what they mean together.
