  1. Well, I managed to find and buy Master & Commander at a local bookshop - I was quite pleased with myself, actually! :lol: I shall be starting that one tonight (yay for the weekend).

     

    Also, I had a look at amazon and found a collection of the 'young' Hornblower books - the 'first' three by the story chronology, so I'll be buying thoe soon, too!

     

    Thanks for the help CQ. By the by, if you enjoy those, you may also like Sharpe, Bernard Cornwell's - it's still the Napoleonic Wars, though it is set in Wellington's army rather than the fleet. ;) Course, I'd advise borrowing one from a library first. First in the series is Sharpe's Rifles.
