  1. I'm not necessarily for legalization, but I agree that by doing so it would eliminate the criminal element as we know it. Sound funny to imagine it, but there would be marijuana farmers just like there are tobacco farmers.
  2. Absolutely beautiful. I've always loved that show (old and new, but prefer the old). I hope someone is considering the Cylons as a possible player model.
  3. Oh yeah, this was a lot of fun. Hope to see more like this.
  4. Methinks that you are such a coward that you had to create a new user name just to post that instead of using your real account.
  5. I like the clone rifle. Have you thought about some of the other weapons in Star Wars Battlefront?
  6. Wedge, this is outstanding. The time you took with this map obviously paid off well, because you have a beautiful product now.
  7. This is just outstanding! It's so good to see you back.
  8. In case no one has noticed it yet, Aaron Smith has released his long awaited Episode II Obi-Wan!!! You can download it from pcgamemods.com. Here is the link: http://www.pcgamemods.com/8949/
  9. I for once am in total agreement with Spider AL. While it is very true that the later generations are more "street wise" due to being exposed to the darker areas of life, they are definately not "better educated". My children know more than they need to about guns at school or drug overdoses. But I can't get them to stop using "gots" instead of "has". It pains me to no end to interact with people on a daily basis who have no grasp of elementary spelling and grammer. For example, I admire Spider AL's grammatical skills but you need to look no farther than these message boards to see what I'm talking about. People no longer pay attention to capitalization or spelling much less than basics such as knowing the difference between to, too and two.

Darth_Kitty, you may be right, but graves work is beautiful. I'd hate to see it changed.
  11. Spider AL, I could not agree with you more.
  12. It is so easy to blame video games, music or movies instead of bad parenting. I am 37 years old. My first "R" rated movie was Friday the 13th: Part II. That was roughly 22 years ago. I have sense never developed a desire to go on a killing spree. The violent video games came around after I was an adult, but I see no difference between the video games and the music videos or heavy metal music that was around when I was growing up. At the time, Ozzy Osbourne and Blue Oyster Cult took a lot of heat for their songs. I may be wrong, but I believe you have to be awfully weak-minded to let entertainment influence your choices on whether or not to commit violent crimes. It seems that every generation tries to blame the easiest target.

Uh.... wow! Speechless. Very, very nice.
  14. I agree. Originally, I didn't think starship interiors such as the Tantive IV would be that fun, but with the release of Jabba's Palace, I'm convinced that it would be worth it.
  15. Wow, wow and wow. BTW, do you have something against Jawas?
  16. I had a Great Dane growing up, but haven't had a dog in years. I've always wanted a pure breed bulldog. An ugly one. With a face so ugly, it looks like he's in pain. So ugly, he'd make me look like a heart throb. Seriously.
  17. Skinwalker, to be honest, I can't disagree with what you are saying here at all.
  18. I had Star Wars Rebellion. It was okay, but it just laid there. Galactic Battlegrounds was fun. Quite addicting, in my opinion. But it was definately Star Wars lite. Anyone played Force Commander?
  19. First, are you familiar with pk3 files? After downloading that Anakin, you need to open up the pk3. I use WinZip. Create a new folder called ext_data. Inside that folder, create another folder called npcs. In that folder, create a text file called anakin.txt. In this file, you will write the npc info. Here is an example of what I would do. YOu can cut and past this if you wish: anakin_ep3 { playerModel Kryn_ani saber reborn sabercolor blue weapon WP_SABER saberStyle 1 FP_HEAL 0 FP_LEVITATION 1 FP_SPEED 1 FP_PUSH 3 FP_PULL 0 FP_TELEPATHY 0 FP_GRIP 3 FP_LIGHTNING 3 FP_RAGE 3 FP_PROTECT 0 FP_ABSORB 0 FP_DRAIN 3 FP_SEE 3 FP_SABERTHROW 3 FP_SABER_DEFENSE 1 FP_SABER_OFFENSE 1 forcePowerMax 50 forceRegenRate 200 reactions 1 aim 1 move 1 aggression 1 evasion 1 intelligence 1 hfov 120 vfov 120 scale 103 playerTeam TEAM_ENEMY enemyTeam TEAM_PLAYER // race human class CLASS_REBORN snd Kryn_ani sndcombat Kryn_ani sndjedi Kryn_ani yawSpeed 60 walkSpeed 45 runSpeed 180 health 500 dismemberProbHead 0 dismemberProbArms 20 dismemberProbLegs 0 dismemberProbHands 30 dismemberProbWaist 0 } Rename the .txt extension to .npc . Then using WinZip, zip the entire contents of the Kryn_ani download and the folder you created into a file called ep3anakin.pk3 . Drop this file into your base folder. To spawn the character, pop the console and type anakin_ep3. You can tweak the lines in the npc file to however you wish. I mostly cut and pasted that from a reborn and built it up from there.
  20. Tell us what you are doing. It's fairly simple as long as you remember to add an npc file for that model.
  21. Look at it this way. Pay special attention to what I'm saying here, because it is with the greatest respect possible. The constitution does not allow a foreign born citizen to become president of the United States. That's it. End of story. Consider this: should I be allowed to run for Prime Minister of England? No, I don't think so. If my daughter married Prince William and he (God forbid) died. Should she somehow become the next Queen of England? No, I don't think so either. Neither would be appropriate. I may be wrong, but I feel fairly confident in assuming that England's laws and/or traditions would forbid either scenario. I have no business trying to lobby to change either. England is not my country. England and her society was built and defended by English muscle and blood. It is a soverign nation. My views are not based on isolationism. My desire to protect and preserve the laws, borders and culture of America are based on the same idea which I applied to your country. I have just as much respect for the same for your country. I would rise in defense of the same. I would be just as unsettled at the sight of someone burning your flag as I would mine. We are neighbors. We are extended family. But I would take just as much liberty defending my back yard as you would yours. And I would defend your right to do so.
  22. I most definately was. My "own reasons" are drawn from adopting, understanding and taking an oath to defend that constitution. Go back and re-read what I said. The constitution is not a living document. It was written over 200 years ago and has been tested time and time again. Constitutional amendments were made difficult to achieve to protect the document from trendy and ill conceived changes. You don't run and change such a sacred thing based on the popularity of one beloved individual. I personally like Arnold. I am a big fan of his movies. Just because he kicked arse in the Terminator doesn't mean that he would make a good president. I'm not even going to debate his performance as governor with the context of what we are discussing. But he is governor because that is allowed by the state constitution of California.
  23. No, you are absolutely right about that. Actually, not at all. You fragmented what I said and took it out of context. Here is what I said: So put yourself in the shoes of the Rocha family. I would not be so tastless to try to speak for them, but shame would be the least that I'd feel for having such feelings.
  24. I say good riddance. I don't see anything inhumane about it either when you consider that it's no secret what the penalty for commiting such crimes would be. It is so narrow minded to argue against it when you think about the fact that the criminal chose to commit that crime. In that sense, the criminal volunteers to commit a crime that carries such consequence. There are homeless people in society who have no guarantee of food or shelter on a daily basis. Why should an idividual who takes the life of another human being then be given a lifetime of guaranteed food, clothing, shelter and medical care on the burdan of the society which he offended? Society is better off without them.
