  1. How to Train Your Dragon and WALL-E were great. I don't have any problems with CG if they produce films like these.
  2. Did anyone notice the tags for this thread?
  3. And I don't give a **** about giving a ****! @Mike: You are very very wrong.
  4. They are being completely outplayed, but what kind of fan would I be if I didn't have faith in my team? Tonight should be exciting.
  5. My rear tire went flat, got a new one today. I went to a local benefit music show for a local kid who is in a coma. NY Rangers didn't get shutout today. ^ All good things.
  6. ^ The truth. Not going to lie, when I first saw this I cried. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEP2gjzmGL4 And to cancel out the sadness.
  7. What if you don't know their appearance? Oh, and flying cars sound fun.
  8. I don't know what to say...I'm trying to respect your opinion though. I'll just say that I strongly disagree.
  9. I think you are confusing Socialism with Communism. I may be wrong though. It's a common mistake I have noticed many people make.
  10. Just out of curiosity, what is so bad about Socialism? I'm an open supporter of it. I wouldn't support that the U.S. become a Socialist country, but many Americans hear Socialism and then close the door. Socialism isn't evil or anything.
  11. ^ I agree. It almost seems hypocritical that someone can say MSNBC is not credible due to its bias, but Fox is? I don't watch Fox intentionally, but since one side of my family is a bunch of Conservatives, I see more than I want to. I find Fox News annoyingly conservative. I can't stand many of their talking heads either. O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity...that one chick. I don't watch MSNBC much either.
  12. I'm not sure how to elaborate on it without repeating what other members have said. Like I said, my opinion is biased because I am a Liberal and have not been targeting free speech. Personally I think his project was just plain stupid. How in the hell would having students carrying concealed guns help anything in anyway? And like Avery said "There is **** you don't say" I could kinda understand if the concealed weapons was for teachers, but still a bit iffy. If it was me, even though I strongly disagree with the student's opinion, I would not call the police on him. I would probably call a higher authority in the room to deal with it though. I'd still try and let him have his say. So, therefore, I believe this was just an overreaction.
  13. I don't want to hijack this or anything, but someone please, please, please tell me that that Conservapedia site is a joke. Please! As for the wikipedia issue. It's not a matter of big importance to me. I mean sure it's a little odd and if it is the staff removing the information(which is supposedly true information) then it is unprofessional. But it is their site and they are allowed to do with it what they like. And, I don't want to be mean or flame you like "everyone else" but could you try and include links to news sources other than Fox?
  14. Simple overreacting. That's my opinion. Yes, it is biased because I am a Liberal and I have no "agenda" of targeting free speech.
  15. I find it funny just reading it. Yep, good thing, I also got back from seeing Watchmen. It was a long movie but I enjoyed it. On the ride back home we were pulled over and searched at like 1 something in the AM. I have never been searched before.
  16. Nope. I bought Guild Wars in 05 or 06, played that for a bit. Got to a point in the game known as Post Searing and I quit around level 12 or so. Moved on to World of Warcraft. Played this game for a couple years, loved it. I didn't really care much for the Burning Crusade expansion, but I still purchased it and achieved the then maximum level of 70. The Burning Crusade expansion changed too much and in ways I did not like. Raiding was changed, Battlegrounds, Blood Elf Hunters, Outland was rather boring, and it also felt like they made the game a lot easier and more "mainstream". I then tried out Tabula Rasa. It was a fun fast paced game. It needed some tweaking and I think it would have been a great game given time. After those, Warhammer Online. A lot more was promised than what was received in this game, but I still liked it. The Player versus Player is quite fun, in my opinion. I'm getting a little tired of monthly fees, so I'm enjoying free things. Or at least things with a subscription fee of less than $15 a month. I'm currently playing Guild Wars again because I never reached the highest level and decided since I have the time, then why not. I'm enjoying it. I'd like for TOR to not have a subscription fee, but that is unlikely. If it does have one, then I hope it is such a good game that it is worth it. I wouldn't mind paying then.
  17. This is kinda random, but do you guys remember the scene where they are crossing the bridge and a giant tentacle like thing destroys it? That could somewhat support the sea theory. Of course, who is to say that space creatures aren't allowed to have tentacles? I also read that there was more than one monster. A mother and a baby. Anyone else hear about that one?
  18. Yes! When jumping is not there it just feels like something is missing. When I played WoW, I would jump from time to time just to entertain myself. I currently play Guild Wars, which has no jumping. I still enjoy the game, but I would like it slightly more if I could jump. I think TOR should have a basic jump that anyone and everyone can perform. Then as you get into Jedi and Sith they have force jumps and stuff. Possibly a "buff" skill and when it's on their basic jumps are converted into force jumps?
  19. This one is tough to call. I think we should think about the the health of others before ourselves in this case.
