Alright, I think I have a solution to our missing CQ problem. I reintroduce Belina at the begining of the next part of the series saying that she destroyed nearly all the ships at the battle but she thinks the Grand Admiral and a few other ships might have escaped from the battle and are hiding in deep space.

That can leave the door open so that if CQ comes back he can take the role of Velerc back.
