Redwing
I had the same problem x_x I took upwards of 300 and only about 25 came out XD;;
Andy867
there might be a limit by JA on how many screenshots the folder can support, or possibly after a certain amount in-game, it gets confused.. hard to say since I dont take that many. BuRn
i went back and did a test, i only took 2 and they are still black screens. maybe my effects are too high or something
Andy867
what do you have your video details set at?
Redwing
No...the pics that came out were apparently completely random...number notwithstanding...
BuRn
i have all the settings to full with 1600 x 1200 res. i still get 50 to 60 fps so i havent turned them down
Andy867
Well maybe you should since it was found that games are really only meant to be run at 1024x768 or 800x600
Reddiguy
I've had the same issue, but with different screen resolutions. All of my screenies were once available, but when I attempted to cut and paste my screenies went black and no matter what I do --- even reinstalling the demo--- they won't show up. And here I was excited about doing a walkthrough! My system: Microsoft Windows XP Pro Pentium 4 1.60 GHz 512 MB of RAM ATI Radeon 9600 Creative SB Audigy
Andy867
Somehow, my demo glitched and produced 10 screenshots, and I know i didn't try the cl_Avidemo command because all I did was push f12... So who knows.
Kurgan
Just for a test you could try alt+printscreen (and then paste into a paint program). My theory is that your drivers are corrupted or need to be updated. Run the system analyzer program that came with the JA demo, do the advanced part and run all the tests. See if it gives you any errors or says any files are missing.
Reddiguy
There's a system analyzer program? I got the demo from FilePlanet the first day it came out . . . maybe I just need a "new" version?
Kurgan
Go to where you installed the demo, there should be a folder called "Install" and look in there... unless you deleted it on purpose...
Andy867
or just click the shortcut in your start menu under programs -> lucasarts - > Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy Demo.. then when the new window opens up asking for Singleplayer, help, etc, click Help and the system analyzer is there.
