Revan awoke after a while of being unconscious. He found that he was locked up in a jail cell, with an unconscious Canderous Ordo lying in his bed in the cell straight across from him. "It's about time you woke up, Revan." a voice came from somwhere within the jail. Revan could not locate it, except for the fact that it came somewhere from the ceiling. It was coming from a speaker built into the ceiling. The Jedi used it to communicate to guards in the cell room, as they watched from different cameras to keep an eye on the prisoners themselves. "Don't bother looking for me, I'm not in the room, as I assume you have finally figured out." the voice cracked through the speaker. "Last minute changes in plans has me stuck on this planet keeping an eye on the two of you. Oh yes - this is Darion Lash. The brilliant mind who not only helped in your capture, but also disabled your ship." Darion said with a bit of applause heard in his voice. Revan decided not to reply, as anything he would say would not change his current position. "As soon as your friend Canderous awakes, you will both be put to death, so enjoy Canderous's sleep while you can." Darion said with a grin almost vocally coming through the speaker. Revan leaped up from his bed and ran to the cell door. "You scum! Your boss said ..." "My boss said what? Oh yes ... he said that you would be killed before her eyes. Well, she decided to go with them, therefore you will be killed, but not for her eyes to see!" Darion said in laughter. "You won't get away with this!" Revan shouted. "Yes, yes, you Jedi seem to hear yourselves saying that exact line many times, and yet, how many times do we not get away with it?" Darion retorted. Revan stayed silent, almost as if losing hope for a moment. He refused to give up though, he had been in jams worse than this before, and would find some way to overcome it ...

Suddenly, the door swung open. Cassus Fett entered the room with his blaster aimed at Bastilla. He nodded to the guards and they closed the door, leaving him and Bastilla alone in the room. Cassus slowly holstered his blaster. He stood in front of Bastilla in silence. Bastilla, not even resting her gaze on him, spoke up. "What do you want?". She said with an annoyed tone. "Probably not what you're expecting, miss." Fett retorted. Bastilla grimaced as she looked Fett up and down. "I knew something was different about you. Who are you, really?" she asked. Fett stayed silent for a moment, then he slowly took off his helmet to reveal a man who she had never seen before .. than again, she had never seen Cassus Fett without his helmet on anyway. "You don't remember me, do you?". It was more of a statement than a question. "I guess I wouldn't really expect you to, you only met me once on Korriban. The name's Onasi. Dustil Onasi. You knew my father." he said with a bit of sadness in his tone. "DUSTIL!" Bastilla started to shout, but remembered it wouildn't be wise, seeing as how she's a prisoner of the Sith at the time being. "That's right. I heard of my father's death. I'm going to help you get out of here, and then I'm going to kill the core slime who did that to him." he said, his sorrowful tone changing into an angry one. "When we land, I have a plan to get you out of here, but I'll need you to use the Force to help us out, okay?" he asked. "Of course, Dustil. I .. I'm so sorry about your father." she said as she blinked away a few tears. "Save it." he replied coldly. He put his helmet back on, turned and knocked on the door. The guards opened up and let him out. They closed the door once again. Bastilla sat there, now with plenty of things to think about.

Dustil roamed the halls of the ship in silence. His mind was completly focussed on his plan. It didn't take much longer until the ship had finally landed. Bastilla was escorted by her guards to the exit ramp of the ship. Dustil took the lead in front of her and the guards. He'd have to play this one just right if either of them had any hope at all. Darth Fray wasn't too much behind the group as they all exited. They were lead to the doors of a large Sith base. The guards allowed them entry. They traveled down what seemed like an endless hallway until they were brought before a room with two large doors, and two Sith guarding each door. The Sith opened the doors and allowed the others entry. Darth Rade sat on his throne. The room was dark, with next to no lighting. Bastilla could feel Darth Rade's eyes on her, but she dared not to look at him.

"You have arrived! Very good. Cassus, Fray, soldiers, you may all leave now." said Rade. Darth Fray and the two soldiers left immediately. Only Dustil remained. "Cassus, I told you to leave. Do so now." Rade instructed. "I do not trust this woman, Lord Rade. Allow me to stay and protect you?" Dustil said as a million warnings went off in his head, telling him of what a bad idea this was. "That will not be necessary, Dustil. Leave now, and pray that my wrath on you is not as bad as it was on your father! My guards will take you to a cell." Rade said with a strong hint of annoyance of Dustil's stupidity found in his voice. Dustil let his anger get the best of him once more. He took his blaster, aimed it at Rade's forhead, the infared dot visible, he was ready to pull the trigger. Rade had known it was him all along. He proved it when a red lightsaber blade lit up the area near Dustil.

The blade had thrust through his chest. The lightsaber deactivated, and Dustil fell to the floor and died. The dark Jedi then simply took his body and left the room. Bastilla stood there, blinking back tears, gazing scornfully at Rade. "What do you want from me?" she demanded. "I appologize for that brutal display, but it had to be done. He was fooling nobody, in fact, it was quite annoying. Anyway, let me explain why you are here. I want you by my side. Not as my apprentice, but as my queen!" Rade's words seemed to echo in Bastilla's mind, she was speechless ... for now ...

"Do not answer just yet, I understand that you will need time to answer. Your friends, however, do not have much time. They will be spared if you become my queen." Rade said. "In the same way that Dustil was ... "spared"? Bastilla replied. "No. They will be free to live their lives as they see fit, as long as it doesn't interfere with mine." said Rade. "You know very well that I am married, and that Revan would not rest until you are dead!" said Bastilla. "I guess that leaves me in a lose/lose situation, doesn't it?" said Rade. "It certainly does seem so." Bastilla said quietly. "We'll see about that. In the meantime, you just think about my proposition. I have everything to gain and nothing to lose. I have .... feelings for you, Bastilla. I do not want to be your enemy." said Rade. As Bastilla was about to reply, Rade ignored her and instead spoke something into his wrist communicator. Suddenly, two guards and two dark Jedi entered the room. They escorted Bastilla to a nice looking room within the base. The guards and Jedi left the room, but guarded the door from the outside, and locked it as well. All that was left for Bastilla to do now, was to think. Again.

Bastila's tears began to flow silently down her face. Suddenly, she felt a bit of rage building up inside and took full advantage of it. She used the force to slam one of the chairs into the door. It dented the door and the chair splintered into several pieces. Calming herself, she sat down on the floor, her back against a wall and began to think about what had just happened.

Elsewhere ...

Canderous started waking up from his unconsciousness. As he awoke, he moaned in pain, from the bruising his body had endured that was still present. "Looks like we have a winner!" Darion laughed, his laughter echoing in the jail cell. Canderous finally realized that he was in a jail cell.

"What the hell is going on?" he looked over and noticed Revan. "What's going on, Revan? Revan did not reply. He just looked down to the ground, as if saddened. Their fate would soon be sealed.

After a few moments of silence, Canderous sat up in his bed. He then got up to his feet and walked over to the see-through door of his cell. "What are you so glum about? Use your fancy Jedi powers and get us out of here!" he said.

It was too late. Darion and a handful of soldiers arrived before each of their cells. "Time to die, gentlemen." Darion said with a look of excitement in his twisted eyes. Without another word, Canderous and Revan were escorted out of their cells and taken to the training grounds of the Jedi Academy, where two more handfulls of soldiers awaited, their blaster rifles tightly gripped in their hands.

Darion turned to the two men and stared at them in silence for a few heart beats. He then turned his head to a soldier and began to bark his order. "Take them out onto the field. I want them to have a running chance before we shoot them both." Darion enjoyed the thought as it became word. The soldiers escorted both Revan and Canderous out onto the field. They forced the two to pace outward about ten steps and then stop.

Revan didn't have his lightsaber, and Canderous had no weapons as well. Revan needed a plan and FAST. Time was running out for the both of them, and things seemed to be at their worst. Only time would tell if they would escape this danger alive.

Meanwhile ...

Lord Rade called upon Darth Fray on his com-link. After a short period, Fray arrived before his master. "Alert Bastilla that her time is up. Escort her here, I can not stress enough that she is very well guarded on her way here, as she will no doubt try to kill you and my soldiers if given the chance."

"Very well, my lord." Darth Fray quickly replied. He exited the room and made his way to Bastilla's room. Before he entered, he had ordered a rediculous amount of soldiers to escort him. He opened the door, and the first thing he saw, was Bastilla's fist lunging at him. He cought it in the blink of an eye, and held it as he spoke. "Lord Rade is ready for your answer now. I shall escort you to see him at once. I would not try anything funny, because in doing so, you will not escape here alive." His words were brief, but to the point. Bastilla was escorted back to Lord Rade's throne room. Lord Rade gazed at her almost adorringly .... but it was an unreadable expression to Bastilla. Rade awaited her response.

  • 2 weeks later...

Bastila glanced around the room and smiled. Plenty of furniture in here.

Rade was knocked flat onto his face when a chair rammed him from behind and Fray recieved a kick in the stomach.

"I thank the chair in my quarters for this idea," she said as she pulled their lightsabers into her hands. "Let Revan and Canderous go. If you don't I'll kill you."

Suddenly, just as fast as Brittany could sense it, a tazor shock was delivered to her back. "I thank my hidden assassins in my quaters for this idea." Rade said mockingly as Brittany fell down to the floor and passed out. Rade grinned evily. The dark smile seemed cold and without substance.

"Take her away." Said Rade to his guards as if waiting for someone to do the job that they weren't doing. The guards did as they were told. They picked her up and dragged her to a jail cell. It was up to Revan and Canderous now.

Bastila awoke in the cell and flew into a rage banging herself against the walls until she had a great number of bruises. Then she calmed herself and sat back to think. It seemed to be one of the things she had spent a lot of time doing recently.
