.:Silver:.
I was able to turn the force feedback option for my mouse off in the demo, but I can find the option anywhere in the full version. The game shows all of the symptoms of having it turned on and it's beginning to get a little frustrating. Does anyone know anyway else to get the force feedback option to turn off in the full version?
Kurgan
Go into the console and type cmdlist (or cvarlist) and then use the PageUp or PageDown keys to scroll around. This should allow you to find the command and you can add this to your main cfg file (turned off) so you'll never have to worry about it again. .:Silver:.
I tried a reinstall for the third time. That seemed to fix the problem. I guess the final version has excluded the option to turn it off. Anyway, everything is much smoother now. I'm talking about MP, by the way. I still can't get the SP game to work, which I see seems to be a running discussion on this forum. Appreciate the response though, Kurgan.
Andy867
Force Feedback is for SP only. What problems are you having for Sp?
.:Silver:.
The SP version won't load. The CD just runs for a few seconds and then, nothing. I know it's not the CD because I've already exchanged it for another one. Plus, my system shows that the program jasp.exe is running, but no game. MP works fine though. Andy867
Did you possibly try making a back-up copy of the game, because I did so to protect the original copy from scratches, etc and I have the same problem where it looks like its going to load and just sits there, and then even the task itself is self-terminated. .:Silver:.
Yes, I did make a back up copy. Also, when I try to shut down the task, my computer receives a "hard lock", where the only remedy is to actually push the reboot button on my computer.
