Clemme w/Stick
What about this? Will I have to upgrade my comp? 2400+ AMD Athlon 256 MB DDR Ram Geforce 4 MX440 128 MB Ram -Clemme
Com Raven
You have a very strong cpu, and a good graphics card, but regardless of Knights, you have very little ram for such a powerful processor.
Clemme w/Stick
Hmm, so you're saying that I need to buy some extra ram? Anyways, how many would I have to buy? -Clemme
Com Raven
I have no clue how much Knights will need to run smooth, and I am sure it will work pretty good on your pc, but for such a fast cpu I would suggest 512 ram. Otherwise you kind of a bottleneck, where the rest of your machine can be slowed down a bit. Anyways, if your pc runs fine for you, you don't have to change a winning team, eh? Clemme w/Stick
Err, I know its a 128 mb in my PC, not sure about the mx part. My PC runs great now. I'll change the RAM if I need. EDIT: its a 1800+ AMD Athlon NOT a 2200+. Sry my bad. -Clemme
HaruGlory89
What about this? AMD Athlon XP Processor 1500+ 1.3 ghz 384 MB RAM NVidia GeForce 4 MMX 440 SE I don't mind if I have to turn some stuff off, as long as it can run smoothly if everything is turned off. For me Gameplay>graphics.
koolkid145
well, the gfx card does more than make the game look all shiny and pretty, it increases frame rate. the less ur cpu has to work on graphics, the more it can be used to run the game. so, your processor is ok, not the best. your ram might need improvement. the graphics card will run it OK, but i'd get a 9600 Pro (ATI) if you can, really good graphics card. right now, in US $$$, its $199.99, but when knights comes out, it should be cheaper.
