They add air 2.the air cruisers kill everything 3.anti-air stinks (Unless you have 10+) 4.the jedi just swing and convert 5.the campains are either to easy or too hard 6.Jedis die to bounty hunters!!! 7.you can shoot over walls!! 8.4 air cruisers can kill your whole base 9.transports and space ships can't land.

Yes the game is old now, but it still is good. The idea is that you build build build. If you prepare your defence for these kind of attacks, you should do well enough DMUK (my 1000th post! Only taken 2 years! )

Some of the things he said lean towards insanity you can't have star wars without air and jedi needed to be balanced. Not many reveiwers thought the game was crap i did a quick check and the lowest review rating for the game i could find was 8 out of 10 how can that many people be wrong. usually with that many people sayinmg it's good it has to be fact Startegy games obviously arn't that guys taste or star wars for that matter. If they arn't he isn't the best person to comment then.

I mean, I think plenty of things suck but I don't go to Internet Froums devoted to these things to say they suck. pbguy1211 Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 he's obviously very new to the game and doesnt undertsnad any of the strategies. if he lets someone build 4 ACs... then can't even kill them??? then he deserves to die! fighters kill ac's easily. and actually cannons are probably more effective than AC's because they're easier to defend and have a faster attack rate if used properly.

You guys all started to flame him instead of trying to convince him that the game is good(except for DMUK). Now the game is good for the following reasons: -Best balance evar! -Gameplay way better then the one of AoK -Better diversity then AoK -One of the Best Star Wars games so far(Behind JK:JO, KOTOR, JK:JA, Clone Wars, Rogue Squadron and X-Wing Alliance) -Just compare it to Force Commander...you'll see -Loads of fun if you're a Star Wars fan and want to experience the Star Wars battles behind the eyes of the Commander One last word: Air Cruisers are crap, have always ben and will always be the worst Air unit evar.

So what if you dont agree, not everyone has to love the game. This is America (or atleast it is where Im posting). That said, I'd also like to address his complaints. 1. IMO, air adds another strategic level to the game, by adding more manuveurability as well as another counter system added. Without air, it'd just be trooper/mech battles. 2. Air cruisers are available only in t4, take forever to be built, move, and reload. The also cost a mint, and are built at a quite expensive place. They are also very vurnable to attack after they have shot. 3. AA is actually quite cost effective, especially if upgraded 4. Whats so wrong with attacking and converting? 5. Try a different diffuculty setting 6. They're supposed to die to bounty hunters. This gives bounty hunters a purpose and allows jedi to kill every other unit in the game. 7. Gameplay>Realism 8. See #2 9. Why do they need to?
