Besides, I don't particularly want to see him have a much bigger role in the next one. Not because I don't like him. In fact, he's my favorite on the council. But GL has completely squandered the first two movies and now has to cram the whole thing into one flick. Since that's pretty much an impossibility, enough will be left out already without giving background characters a bigger role. And I'll stop right about now before I go completely off. Gand wear breathe masks because they're methane breathers, btw. Ubese (Leia's disguise in RotJ) wear breathe masks and environmental suits because their planet's atmosphere is destroyed...Anomids are another methane-mask breather species.
