It costs so much simply for the fact that it takes faction points to get it. The normal conversion is around 50 credits for every 1 faction point. Since it takes like 20,000 faction points to earn it, 1 million is the right price. Cii Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 ST does look great, and comp does have higher resist. BUT the encumbrance on the trooper armor is low, humans dont even have to stat migrate. You can get trooper armor up to high 40's% range resist with a good slice, comp gets up to 60%(advanced sliced). Throw an all-around shield generator (mkIII) on the ST armor and your matched or even higher. I then had pieces sliced . the ones that went to protection instead of HAM went to 76%. and that was everyting protection execpt maybe 2 res.
