Having a problem viewing my console in multiplayer mode.

Am having a strange problem, and oddly enough one that seems to have followed me from outcast.

 

When I log into multiplayer, and if I start a game I can see everything in my console just fine. Bindlist, cmdlist everything shows up peachy.

 

If I join another sever, when I bring up my console it's just blank. I can put in any commands I want to, and it seems to accept those commands (i.e binding keys), but doesn't show anything. I also can't see past text sent from other players, which is the biggest annoyance at present.

 

Now, I'm not completely computer illiterate, nor am I the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to them. I can't for the life of me figure out why this has been happening.

 

Also sorry if this topic has been discussed, and driven into the ground before on these forums. The search keeps spitting out that I don't have access to it, and don't have the time to search throughout these forums.

 

If anyone has any ideas on what I could do to attempt to fix this problem it would be much appreciated.

hold down pageUp or pageDown for a few seconds (I can't remember which) while the console is open.

 

this happens to me too now and then, just hold one of them and it will all scroll back up/down (it takes like 5-10 seconds).

Typing "clear" will clear all the info listed in the console as well.

 

Unnamed is right, just be sure you use the pageup/downs NOT located on the number pad.
