peloquin
ok the first thing you have to do 'breath' you're ok now you've come to the right place, we are here to help you. When you go to pcgamemods all you have to do is look through each mod they have and now here's the tricky part...you have to look at the mod and think really hard to yourself "do I like this mod" ok don't panic at this stage you're still alright and everything is cool, I repeat everything is cool. Now I don't want to scare you but there is a decision to be made here and then we're almost through. If you like the mod ....download it (whew..got a little emotional there) if you don't like the mod....don't download it. (whoa whoa head spin) lol, sorry I had to respond that way but your question cracked me up. dude it just comes down to what you like ehy. If you just want to make sure you have models that people have so that you can see em well that's pretty easy cause the only models you'll be able to see are the models and mods the server you're playing on has. Bottom line... if the server has the model you'll be able to see it, if it dosen't have the model you wont be able to use it on that server. SlapNut
lol, i know that, but how do i know what everyone else has, so i can have the same and stuff.
Prime
Sadly, it really doesn't matter. Apart from a few things, people won't end up with the same stuff. Thus you likely won't be able to use it online so everyone can see it (models and skins anyway). On non-pure servers you'll be able to see it though, which is good enough, IMO. So really the only guideline is get stuff that interests you...
StormHammer
The only problem is that probably the majority of servers out there are 'Pure' servers at the moment, so unfortunately you won't see custom skins on those. Thinking about it, it would be nice if we could have a more detailed breakdown in the server lists, so we can readily identify servers that are Pure or Non-Pure, running X mod, with Y rules... I would love something like this. IIRC, you can't even check the pure server cvar in the server information window, correct?
