BCanr2d2
Get into your control panel, and then go to the Sound And Audio Decvices applet. Go to the Hardware tab, then double click on Video Codecs, and find out which ones are the codecs you don't want, and remove them with the "remove" button

BCanr2d2
Is there an uninstall program for these "rogue" codecs?? Or are you trying to remove those that are part of a Windows install, or a Windows Media Player install???
