XynAngel
Well Hopefully someone can help me because I am stumped! I recently bought a new Sony VAIO pc because my laptop died on me. I installed Jedi Outcast on my computer and it runs great on single player, but whenever I try to play multiplayer I can connect to the server but constanly get the "Connection Interrupted" message on my screen. My latency on a server can be at around 200 or so then all of a sudden shoot up to 999 lol. Not good. I have tried disabling my firewalls and closing a few programs on my computer except for AOL and I still lag like no other. I am running on 56 k just like I used to on my laptop and I had no problems on the laptop. My modem on this computer definitely isn't broken or anything I stay connected and download pretty damn fast so I'm hoping someone you has a solution to this problem? Is it possible that there is a program that keeps messing with my connection to JO?

acdcfanbill
um, you could try downloading any updated drivers for your modem? or if your hooked into a lan, drivers for your ethernet card.
Jar-Gon
no, I don't think so. It is a wi-fi LAN, I'm afraid sometimes someone is sniffing the net (not very well) and interferes the connection in spite of be protected. By the way , what is the difference between create a match selecting a pure server or do not select this way? Thanks
