primuss Posted November 1, 2003 Share Posted November 1, 2003 Ok finally bought academy today and install the game and hit that magic button to play. It thinks for abit than tells me please insert correct cd, well I do have CD1 in my drive but keep getting that message, have tried CD2 but it just than tells me insert CD1. Have also tried it in both my cd rom drives but still same problem, tried re installing 3 times now and still same thing occurs. Sorry to hear you can't get the game to work. I know of a few other people who have had the same problem, and I've yet to see a reliable solution posted. Someone suggested that certain CD-ROM drives may have problems reading the disks - so could you post your CD-ROM drive make and model, just in case? Have you tried bypassing the main menu, and running jasp.exe or jamp.exe directly? If you can't get the game to work at all, you would be better off contacting Lucasarts Technical Support, and give them a detailed run-down of the problem. As I said, you're not the first to report this problem, and perhaps by now they have found a solution. If they have, and can help you, we'd appreciate it if you post their feedback in this forum.
