Romanov77 Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 Ive just bought the "Clone campaigns" expansion, and Ive some questions: 1) Can you give me a COMPLETE list of the new units/features/upgrades? 2)Can I use the new units/features/upgrades in the old GB campaigns? 3) Arent the new aircrafts built in the Fortress overpowered?
swphreak Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 I wouldn't goto GB.com just yet. The site is still being fixed I think...
Romanov77 Posted November 4, 2003 Author Posted November 4, 2003 Thanks! Are the new units playable in the old campaigns???
saberhagen Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Yes, all the old campaigns are available in Clone Campaigns and can be played with new units/technologies. This might make them easier or harder, depending on the scenario. Air cruisers aren't overpowered: they cost a lot, take a long time to build, move very slowly and are very vulnerable to fighters. A lot of peopl edon't use them at all, or only very rarely.
DarthMuffin Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Air Cruisers are not very liked, but they can kill (or badly damage) many stuff if you're not paying attention. If you want some real challenge out of the campaign, I'd suggest playing them on hard without CC; for some odd reasons, the AI of the old campaigns with CC installed is pretty sucky. For units and stuff, you could go here, but I'd suggest gamefaqs Oh, and when you'll be bored of the game, come to the off-topic
Connemara2100 Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 I found the air cruiser is the newb's friend. When I was first playing the only way I could beat the scenerios was survive long enough to build about 15 air cruisers and beat the crap out of the enemies.
lukeiamyourdad Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Hmm...in theory in may be the newb's best friend since when you're a newb you basically go for the theorically strongest unit you can... interesting...never thought of that...
