tyrius Posted November 17, 2003 Share Posted November 17, 2003 I have been stuck in the Cairn Assembly room with the Lander for ages. I have read variuos walkthroughs which tell me to destroy the grate and the machinery in this room. And that this will destroy the lander and open the blast doors. However this has not happened. I am unable to jump to the ledge as it is too far, and when I have tried to destroy the machines with my FC-1 in alternate attack I see various explosions and my screen freezes like it is saving. I then hear "its a rebel" and "blast him". BUt when I rush down off the scaffolding the blast door is still locked and I can't get out. To say the least I am getting annoyed. griff38 Posted November 17, 2003 Share Posted November 17, 2003 been a long time but i seem to remember after blasting the gate you must destroy the power lines before the blast door will open. Sam Fisher Posted November 17, 2003 Share Posted November 17, 2003 Well, on that big structure, you have to jump off the middle platform, not the top one. It takes practice, but you'll get it.
