MasterSidious
Umm, I just downloaded a program and then uninstalled it. I then found some files that the uninstall didn't take care of so I renamed them. They evidently were like font system files. When ever I turn on my computer it shows up italics for anything. BUT NOW IT DOESN'T SHOW ANY TEXT FOR CERTAIN PROGRAMS! Omg, so how do I fix this? ANYONE PLEASE REPLY IF YOU KNOW! I'd really appreciate it
ZBomber
Uh, reinstall the file and pray to God it works?
Boba Rhett
WHY would you rename it? It sounds like it wasn't even a file that the program put there but rather a shared file. Can you just put the name back?
snowman21
Um, put in your windows cd (if you have windows of course) and try to find something on the cd that will replace lost, renamed, or deleted windows files. I'm not used to doing that kind of stuff. If worst comes to worst, save all your important files and then reformat your harddrive. Thats all i got... MasterSidious
Yes, thanks guys! I got it to work. All of your ideas brought me to a part in windows where you can set the time back on your computer (automatically re-rename files and undelete folders and rename them so the hard drive is like it was 3 days ago before I messed things up). THANK GOD I was able to do this. Thanks for the help people REALLY APRECIATED it Now I won't have to be looking at a bunch of 000-000 for text lol (pretty sad really)
