Lets say im making a map. The 1st level you need to be Kyle... the next level you need to be luke. I heard its possible to do this, but how? Ill need this for my map. (yes, i know about the /playermodel cheat) but thats not what im talking about.... I want you to spawn as kyle in the first level, then the next level i want you to spawn as kyle. Can someone please tell me how to set this up? Thanks, any help would be appreciated. :)

Maybe you can have the first map's target_level_change target a menu which will change the player properties then run the next map?

Since I posed it as a question, I'm not sure if it would work; I haven't messed with the menus too much, and I've noticed alot of crap is in uiScripts, which I don't think can be edited... but I can see a menu file setting up character attributtes manually, and having it run an .cfg file that loads the map... perhaps? :p

There is a command in the Icarus system that does just what you need. Add a Set Types line -- and for the type, choose SET_PLAYERMODEL -- then add the npc name that you want it to change to from the .npc files. For instance: SET_PLAYERMODEL - luke, kyle, or kyle_boss.

That is a miracle! A true gift! Man, I have been waiting for a command like that. I haven't have time to study the new commands in ICARUS, but obviously I should as soon as possible...

This will allow a change of clothes of the player from mission to mission, which is remarkable, and gives much needed possibilities considering the plot of any sizable campaign.

Oh, you have certainly been living in the dark... The tools have been released eons ago. Although they go by the name of MP tools, don't let that fool you - they contain BehavEd (well, you can script for MP also, so why not) and various other editors. And of course all the original Raven scripts from the JA SP (and MP).
