Is it possible to get the framerate number on the screen while playing? I want to properly see the effect of altering different graphics options and such.

i think the only way to get the console is to enable cheats. i am not sure about that however.

but to enable cheats, simply open the .ini for kotor, and under the game options section type the following.

EnableCheats=1

Hm, that didn't work. The key with the ~ on my keyboard is located just to the left of ENTER, but I assumed that the key to the left of '1' would bring out the console. In just about all games, people say that you get the console by pressing the tilde~ key, and it alwys works when I press the button to the left of the '1' key. On my keyboard, that key is for the symbols | and §.

It did not work in this game, though. Any other ideas?

yes, it should be the button to the left of the 1 key. the only thing i could think of to tell you to check for, is to make sure you left no spaces when typing EnableCheats=1. you must type it exactly like that, under the game options section of the .ini file. the first time i put it in i had a space that didn't belong.

then the second time it worked and i didn't even know it because i was used to the console from games like quake. but all it is, is an arrow prompt, with a flashing cursor in the top left corner of the screen. if it's not working for you, i would have no idea why.

Checked the .ini-file, but I've typed it right. absolutely nothing happens when I press the key to the left of 1 while in the game. I can't see a console. I tried to type something anyway, but all the keys do what they usually do in the game. I've tried other keys as well, but not every single one...I'll try some more.
