Darth Eggplant
Christmas time for me, means all those great cartoons celebrating the holidays. I was thinking of making this a poll, but since Santa is bringing the North Pole our way I figure just post your childhood or nostalic favorites here. (since other countries will have specials we North Amercians don't have or get, it will be cool to see what peeps say, like, and remeber. for me old time absolute classic would be The Grinch Who Stole Christmas by Dr. Suess, narated by Borris Karloff. (I have both video and CD of it) A Charlie Brown Christmas by Charles Schultz (spelling?) I don't have either the video or cd *maybe this year I will treat myself.* owning the Grinch and the music from the Charlie Brown special are the two coolest holiday disc you can own. I believe the cd for Charlie Brown is by the Vince Gramboli trio or something. it will be in music stores now for sure. Rodulph The Red Nosed Reindeer I & II (I) Rodulph the Red Nose Reindeer (II) Rodulph and the Island of Misfit Toys * I don't own either, but I do have a Herbie the Elf Dentist figure.* Simpson South Park King of the Hill Futurama Christmas specials any and all of them. now for good cartoons which some may Not have seen, but which I like. would be: Olive The Other Reindeer voiced by Drew Barrymore. funny cartoon. other famoous actors do the voices. worth seeing if you have not. the last and oldest most obscure christmas special was something called Cosmic Christmas by Canadian Animation studio Nelvana. and my most dissapointing Christmas special would have to be The Most Horrible X-Mas Ever Invader Zim cartoon. (they did such a great job with their Halloween special however in all fairness, Nickelodeon butchered and edited it all to pieces so it may have been originally great.) anyhow you will notice TNBC The Nightmare before Christmas is not listed, not because it isn't amazing; simply because it is a full length x-mas movie I wwas going for TV specials. (but feel free to include movies) just be sure they are cartoons.
DarkLord60
I am not much of a cartoon person let alone I can stand the christmas ones. I only watch the funny cartoons such as Family Guy, Simpsons, and sometimes South Park.

MennoniteHobbit
Christmas Cartoons are great the fifth time around, but after that they get so predictable I could practically write out the whole script. Ive seen most cartoons so many times i think im gonna go crazy. Besides, Christmas is NOT about the cartoons, IMHO.
