dylanijw Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 Im stuck in the sewers looking for a Rancor. I'm getting very frustrated. Can anyone help with some advice please?
eidospsogos Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 you have to look for a big bright energy shield that mission will tell you only she can lower. you have to switch to her and let her enter the codes. once you get into this area it should be very easy to find the rancor as i think it will lead more or less straight to it.
Clemme w/Stick Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 Heres some advice for you, once you find the Rancor: Just before you enter the room where the Rancor is you will see an arm lying on the floor. If you go to the arm and click it, you should get some 'senthyzized odor' take it. Now go into the room with the Rancor, completely ignoring it. Right across the room you will find a corpse pile. Go to the pile and click it. You will see that theres 2 Frag Granades there. Ignore them and select 'Switch to give Items' and give it the Odor. Now the Rancor will go and eat the pile and get blown up, if you left the Granades there as well. Hope I helped. -Clemme
eidospsogos Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 i did this the first time to. second time i wanted the bigger xp advantage from actually killing it. so iused mines and grenades.
Clemme w/Stick Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 I used granades the first time and did this the second time. I prefer to do it the sneaky way . -Clemme

eidospsogos Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 yeah, it's hard to ignore aplot concieved way to kill something. but the extra xp is so tempting. of course as fast as you level up and cap in this game i guess i should ignore the temptation.

eidospsogos Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 yeah i guess Happy New Year is in order. is it just me or does that become less and less something to celebrate the older you get?
idontlikegeorge Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Just like your birthday. I stopped counting after hitting 21. What's there to count for after that?
eidospsogos Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 yeah. you can look forward to your auto insurance going down at 25. after that there's only death.
dylanijw Posted January 2, 2004 Author Posted January 2, 2004 A free bus pass at 60, worth a bob or two when the eyesight goes?. :violin:
eidospsogos Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 boy hasn't this become the upbeat post. but hey, could "stuck in the sewers" be a more appropriate title?
