JediMasterEd Posted August 2, 2001 Author Posted August 2, 2001 c4's are pretty powerful. but a whole bunch of prism tanks vs. at-at's? i think we know who would win.
observer_20000 Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 Originally posted by Tie Guy Actually, GI's in RA2 have 50 cals when they deploy, that would do the trick, no? G1's? cals? What are these? (Sorry, i'm not familiar with Red Alert units.) Originally posted by Tie Guy Plus, Tanya would just set some explosives on the AT-ATs and they would explode into tiny pieces. That's if she could get close enough to plant them, and if they were strong enough.
Paragon_Leon Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 hehe.. i have a vision... an army of Yuri's doing mind-tricks on Jedi... ....and an army of Jedi doing mind-tricks on Yuri's...
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 Observer, C4 would be plenty to do the trick on a AT-AT, after all, Luke destroys one with a grenade. Oh, and GI's are the allied trooper that can deploy to have extra range and firepower.
Paragon_Leon Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 don't you think C4 is a lot less powerful than a Star Wars-grenade ?
Darth_Rommel Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 Yeah, and plus the RA2 troops would have to put the grenade inside the AT-AT- not an easy task
Paragon_Leon Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 they have those Rocketeer-type units. those should do it..
Darth_Rommel Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 C'mon guys! This is a Star Wars forum- so let Star Wars win!
Paragon_Leon Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 i said they SHOULD do it, but of course they are picked out of the sky by a squadron of TIE's before they even come close..

Ok, so then in the interest of being conservative, they can take down a stormtrooper, as easily as a stormtrooper can take them down.
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 assuming they had TIE fighters on Hoth, which they didn't
Darth_Rommel Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 But the Star Destroyers could have easily sent hundreds down
Paragon_Leon Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 not if you notice that armor on all those statistics-sites out there..
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 3, 2001 Posted August 3, 2001 I think that it would be too cold for TIE, after all, they said that they were having trouble adapting the speederes to the cold.
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 3, 2001 Posted August 3, 2001 Then again....wouldn't it be too cold for X-wings too? Oh well, i guess they just didn't bother, it not like they needed it.
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 4, 2001 Posted August 4, 2001 *slaps head* Duh! I forgot about that, i guess that starfighters are configured for the cold.
JediMasterEd Posted August 4, 2001 Author Posted August 4, 2001 no ones right all of the time, i think:confused:
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 4, 2001 Posted August 4, 2001 No, some of us are just right more often than others
Darth_Rommel Posted August 4, 2001 Posted August 4, 2001 Well, TIE guy is right 90% of the time, right master?
Paragon_Leon Posted August 4, 2001 Posted August 4, 2001 Really, Rommel...can't you post messages longer than one sentence or doesn't your rank move up fast enough if you do ? The last twelve posts or so on this topic have been absolutely meaningless with oneliners all the way. Please stay on-topic if we can, folks. Now, do you think there might be a unit that can place bombs on buildings like Tanya from RA2 could ?
