Anti
Let's imagine an expansion pack will soon arrive. You want a story that can pick up from where KoTOR left. Where and with whom would you take the story? I'd go with Canderous, as his fate is just about to turn as the game ends, no matter how it ends really. He's the only character who remains the same whether you go light or dark. And let's not forget to include HK-47...
WickedClown
Canderous would be good if they wanted both endings to be 'official'. If you stay lightside, I'd suggest Juhani. She has some problems, is a promising young Jedi but still could be led to the Darkside like before. For one being darkside, oneself. Nobody else would have to be left (Juhani, Jolee und maybe Bastila dead, Carth missing, Mission dead and Zaalbar....who'd want to play with a wookie? HK maybe, but he (it?) could be better for a neutral XP-pack. Same for Canderous. Anyway, I think an XP-pack shouldn't continue but expand...like giving us 2 more planets without (or even with) starmaps, just quests and stuff. Prime
The story is pretty much done by the end. Once the big bad guy is defeated, there isn't really anything else to do. I like the idea of just adding more places to go and things to do with the original story...
Jabbas WhOr3
I want something ultimately deeper and more gut wrenching. I want many planets, which tie in with each other alot more, the more peeps you talk to the more interconnections between planets you would have. I'd like to have to travel back and forth between systems alot more. But then again if I wanted it my way the game would be 10gig on 15 disks

eidospsogos
very true. i bought a dvd burner when the price went down, mainly for the sake of space. multi-layered photoshop files can get pretty d@mn big. so the idea of having 4 GB worth of disk space to burn projects to was alluring. but i hardly ever used the thing, so i sold it. i think i'll get one when i trade in the archaic form of an entertainment center for a multimedia pc. but that's merely a future dream that may never realized. Samus
Originally posted by lukeiamyourdad But still, not everyone has a DVD player on their computer...it's not yet worth it. What was that? Not worth getting a DVD player? You can get one for like 40 bucks or something. A DVD player was included as standard for the computer I bought from Dell more than three years ago! Let's face it. The CD is on the way out. I agree that you don't yet need a DVD burner, but you should really have a DVD player. Computer magazines come with DVD's full of software and game demos, and more and more games are released on DVD. Also, you can watch your movies on the computer. Oh, and remember that a DVD player can read CD's as well.
eidospsogos
yes dvd player reads cds. but at a much slower rate than cd drives. likewise dvd burners burn cds at a much slower rate than cd burners. but anyway back on topic. just because the major badguy has been defeated(ahem, Prime) does not mean that a new one cannot come around, or that the olde one cannot resurface in new ways. exar kun plagues yavin IV thousands of years after his death. and cloning is a common thing in the sw universe. so considering ROTJ didn't end the SW saga for good by killing off all the main villians, then we can safely assume a story can be continued with or without the main villian.
