Reaper Girl Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 Its been a while snice my happy expirence with CMI, but one question plagues me... I had a completly, utterly, totally legal copy of CMI. Box and all. To make game-play faster and less likely to crash, my father-dear taught me a trick...duplicate the "image" of the CD and run it off the computer, not the CD. I've done this with StarCraft and Myst, and they ran beutifully(you need a load of memory, of course). However, CMI refused to cooperate. Is it because it needs disc-two? Or is it more? (PS running off Windows 2000) (*ducks*)
Joshi Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 After copying the files to your computer, did you reinstall COMI from the new location of the CD files? And I think it would help considerably if you copied the second CD as well to the same directory.
Reaper Girl Posted February 7, 2004 Author Posted February 7, 2004 I did. I did install from the computer, both disks.
