Party members using force persuade on their own?

Yes it did... one time :) I didn't have affect/dominate mind myself at the time and when talking to the Hutt on Tatooine (Motta??) about the race contract, Bastila used force persuasion on him to give the racer a better contract :D

I wouldn't call it necessary, maybe it's just for FUN? I mean, I just thought it was a great detail...

Bastila used it on the Hutt to give the racer a better contract... I wouldn't call that a 'major quest' :confused:

I wonder if there are two levels - one that makes sure you get needed information, like on Kashyyk, and the other based on a roll?

 

Or maybe Bastilla *always* does that on Tatooine? Or maybe it depends on how many planets you've done?
