Steve McGoiter
I was just wondering if there is there is one, I have windows XP. I got the Sam and Max one and it works perfectly. And this Scumm VM is pissing me off, I don't know how to work it. The only way I can play DOTT is without the sound and it wont even save! So can someone tell me where to get the updated EXE if it exsists. Or what version of SCUMM VM to download, and how to work it. Their FAQs didn't help at all. Thanks. Huz
Nope, there's no DoTT updated .exe, but you can try ScummVM Quick and Easy to make it easier to use: El clicko For the sound problem, Q+E lets you choose between Windows MIDI and Adlib - one works better than the other for DoTT, but I can't remember which is which, so have fun experimenting. I don't know why ScummVM won't let you save - it should mimic the original interpreter. Just press F1 or F5 or whatever and click through the menus. Steve McGoiter
No, I didn't use Scumm VM to play DOTT because I didn't know how to load it in. I just used the MSDOS version and that wouldn't let me save. I'll try the Quick and Easy later. Thanks
elTee
Isn't the DOTT that was released with Sam & Max in the dvd case a few years ago updated?
Huz
Don't think so. I bought it bundled with Sam and Max (not in a DVD case though) and it certainly wasn't updated.
