Sheriff Gringo
Well hello! Anyone ever play The Riddle of Master Lu? It was like a good LEC adventure game, except a bit more buggy. You played as Robert Ripley (of Believe It Or Not! fame) and had to find the tomb of the first Emperor of China...hmm, didn't Indiana Jones do that recently? Yay originality! Anyway, I tried playing this super whizz-bang game again recently but as it was DOS-based and seemingly abandoned by its makers the day after it was released (unlike Sam & Max 2, which was abandoned pre-release! ROFLOSCOPY!@!@) it just won't work with XP. Won't even install. Question is, has anyone else tried playing it on XP? And could that magical Scumm device thing (I don't know the name, I don't even like computers. I had to get my mother to type this for me) to load this old, but good, game? Remi
DosBox is your friend. ;-* http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1 Granted, I've never tried it, but it's supposedly good.
