Some unrelated questions about .2das and textures

i figured it'd be better to just post both questions in one thread as opposed to spamming the boards.

 

1. i saw pieman's work with the double-weilding double-bladed lightsabers (very cool). this sparked my mind: would it possible to weild a blade AND a blaster? (or even cooler, a lightsaber and a blaster). i figure there must be something that tags a blaster as a blaster and a melee weapon as such. this would be very cool to see.

 

2. this is more of a request, since i'm not sure how to put new textures in-game:

when you are leaning toward the darkside, if you un-equip all clothing/armor as a male player, you get a cool looking black sith body-suit (almost like a superhero costume). if anyone could, i would love it if you could create a generic clothing or armor out of this texture (i can and will add stats to it on my own, i'm quite capable there, i just don't know how to make new textures).

There is a way where you could get your character to hold a lightsaber and a blaster the only proble is the blaster acts like a lightsaber. So what needs to be done is to make it so the game will allow incompatible weapons to be held at the same time. I don't know if that can be done. The game doesn't like ranged and close combat weapons to be used at the same time. The devs Probly did this so they wouldn't have to make animations for such a thing or they didn't think of it.

ive been playing around with making a new armour using some of the in game textures , i could try to make that skin a item , not sure how succesful ill be though ...
