Jase_Morden
Hey, I like using some of the models from JK2 I've dowloaded from jk3files, (Kit Fisto, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn) in Jedi Academy, and the models all work fine, but they're sounds don't. Is there any way to fix this? Also, I downloaded an NPC pack, Even more NPCs mod, and I tried spawning a few of the models I have, and the sounds all work for the NPCs, but not for me. Can anyone help me get the sounds to work please? Thanks in advance (I hope), -Jase
Methos007
There's a tutorial on jedimoves.com on how to fix them. On their download page, you can get all the best star wars models with fixed sound.

OB1 KNOB
If you still need help fixing the sounds, you need to open the pk3's with a zip program. (Window's built in compressor, Winzip, etc...) (I don't know how much you know about the pk3 stuff, if you need more help you can search the forums or just ask here.) Anyways go into the models directory models/players/themodelname/ Open the file named sounds.cfg (it can be opened with Notepad or Wordpad). Delete the directory structure and leave just the name of the actual characters sound folder, found in the sounds directory. Save that file back as "sounds.cfg" and zip everything back up. That should do it, if you have any questions just ask.
Hekx
I suggest making simple patch PK3s so you don't modify the original models and skins. Most servers host the originals still, so unless you want to have people redownload the file again, the patch version is a lot easier. I made a few for JK2 models and the filesize is less than 1KB. That's good too. I've never played online so I hadn't thought about it. Good idea though!
