I need help! kotor restarts my system

I Have a system with this spesification:

CPU: AMD Athlon xp 2400+

Motherboard: Asus A7N8X-X

RAM: 512 MB DDR

Graphic Card: 128 MB Asus Geforce FX 5200

my drivers are up to date

but when I run KOTOR I have to set the texture Quality to low and turn off the Shadows and grass

because my computer restarts when i set the texture quality to medium or high or turn the shadows on

how can i solve this problem

are you sure you got the latest nvidia drivers? (1st April 04)

 

have you got the latest patch for kotor? (1.3)

 

have you tried re-installing kotor?

 

other than that i don't know. your computer specs are fine.

 

try going to http://www.bioware.com and look in their techincal forums.

but not the kotor patch

my kotor game is version 1.00

how can i get the patch for this version

i went to bioware site may be the nvidia geforce fx 5200 is too weak to display the game in medium or high quality mode?

you can get the patch at http://www.bioware.com or at http://www.lucasarts.com in the support section.

 

i don't think your geforce fx 5200 is too weak. i've only got a Geforce 4 mx and i can play it fine with all the settings on max.
