Darth Straker Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 I'm sorry, I didn't explain well my problem; I meant for eg: changing a soldier into a Jedi.
pascalneder009 Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 I don't know that but you can use the Darth Revan Reincernate MOD that lets you play as jedi from the beginning on the endar spire

I don't know but you can edit the classes.2da file so the soldier gains that feat set of one of the three jedi class and add a 1 to the spell casters field in the soldier row and add a where the power gain field is I don't remember the exactname but there will be a JGD, JCD, JSD or some thing of that order the JGD stands for the jedi gardian, JCD stands for the jedi consular, and JSD stands for the jedi sentinel add one of those to that colum
RevanA4 Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 you also can use those values in the skillset colum that will give you the skill set of the jedi class

Darth Straker Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 Tnx for help guys, I'll see if I can do it. Because, it would look stupid to see Darth Bandon firing a gun.
Darth Straker Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 Doesn't work... I'd like to release this today, but I won't release until I turn canderous and T3 into jedis. Please help me!!!
tk102 Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Hi, If you want to change just Canderous and T3 into jedis, why don't you modify their .utc files directly? .2da files will globally affect the game. Fred's KotOR Tool should allow you to do this easily enough, but you will need to start a new game in order to get your modded characters into the game.
Darth Straker Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 Nevermind, found them. Thanks for the help!!
pascalneder009 Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 You could also used the Elite Force MOD founded here: alvin777t.tripod.com
Darth Straker Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 I do, but I wanted to do something "original" like new stats, but the utc files that I created don't work! Why?
Darth Straker Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 Please Help Me!! For eg. I turn carth into a jedi consular, give him some force powers, etc., and also some lightsabers and robes. I start a new game and pass through endar spire until you can select Carth, then everything is there but he can't wear robes neither use lightsabers. I don't understand it.
tk102 Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Does Carth's character sheet show him as a Jedi Consular in-game? You may need to grant him the Weapon Proficiency: Lightsabers Feat. The force powers use Force Points which he might not have enough of at level 1.
Darth Straker Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 Hmm, that may be the reason, and what about the star forge robes, does it need any special feat for him to wear it?
tk102 Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Didn't those robes have an good or evil alignment restriction?
Darth Straker Posted April 16, 2004 Author Posted April 16, 2004 Light side but it doesn't matter now as Carth (or any other originally non jedi) can't wear any jedi robes. Do they need any feat like for lightsabers ?
Jackel Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 jedi robes need the feat : Jedi Defense before you can wear them , same as for the NPC's like carth , cando etc
