shosey
when you make a custom item, is there a way to make the description not have the white blocks in the game where you hit return in the description field?
T7nowhere
you need to keep the space tight. So when your done typeing don't hit enter instead select another node like ResRef.
shosey
ok, here's what I want to do. In the DescIdentified fielf I want to put this text. Special: Upgradable Then my description goes here. how could I got about doing this withoug having the white blocks when you see this description in game. Is there even a way - I tried using escape characters and that didn't work (ie. \n) any clues would be appreciated.
Prime
I think that if the item is actually upgradable, the game will put that part in itself. You just need to put in the description.

You just need to put in the description. no, it won't. when you make a custom item, you can either make a custom description (thus erasing the "special, upgradeable" text) or leave the original text with the "special, upgradeable". shosey, the only thing i could think of (since i've never myself got this to work) is to try playing around with both "description" and "descidentified". maybe one is always placed above another, and you could use that? i don't know, i've never got it to work without the white blocks myself.
