Crow_Nest
Try removing all mods, skins and (especially) maps. They may have some shader files that screws up the game's orginal shaders.
Digz
I don't know why the hell this keeps happening, it's not driver related. I got no mods, skins.... just installed it, started then it say: lightmap texture bits: 0 multitexture: enabled compiled vertex arrays: enabled texenv add: enabled compressed textures: enabled compressed lightmaps: disabled texture compression method: GL_EXT_texture_compression_s3tc anisotropic filtering: enabled (2.000000 of 2.000000) Dynamic Glow: disabled Shutting down OpenGL subsystem ERROR: no shader files found
_PerfectAgent_
I guess you can try a reinstall. The first time I installed JA, it didn't install part of the assets pk3s.
TK-8252
Making two threads for the same issue doesn't help.
lukeskywalker1
Making two threads for the same issue doesn't help. He is new, cut him some slack, he just wants to play his game. Ok, try to reinstall, and report back if it doesnt work. Did you ever have any illegal beta version of the game? If so, then delete ALL of that, then reinstall the game. Also, what are your system specs?

Kurgan
Run the system analyzer program that came with the game (also found on the CD if you deleted the /Install directory) and run EVERY test. Make sure it passes everything 100%. If not, go install whatever is missing (latest directx, latest video card/soundcard drivers, etc). Also install the 1.01 patch after you've reinstalled the game. Good luck!
