JeeMonkey
hey all, i need some help with texturing and modeling. i know how to adjust effects using fx editor but the effect never looks the same as it does in the game. so i have to go through like 100 trial and errors till i get it right in the game. now with the shaders, my shader editor program that i got using rich diesal, does not display any shader when i open a shader and does not allow me to make or modify a shader. is there a better way to do any of this? Mercenary
You got a shader editor from using Rich Diesal? I use notepad for shaders I don't like ShaderEd2.
Codja X
ShaderED uses OpenGL (i think) so make sure you have the latest video drivers and that there are no other windows using OpenGL open. If this doesn't help display the shaders then I don't know what to suggest - it works fine with me.
