How can I recover my old user name?

I have been trying to recover my old user name for several weeks now. I used the form that is supposed to reset my password or whatever it is supposed to do. I put in my e-mail address, but it never sends anything to my e-mail account.

 

I checked the members list and my old user name is still listed. Can some one help me out?

My guess is that the email adress you wrote down wasnt the same as the one you used to register. You sure you wrote down the right one? That would explain why it hasnt been send to you.

I was thinking the problem was something to do with my e-mail address, but I put in the active e-mail address that I used when I signed up previously and I believe it came up with a message saying that it sent an e-mail to that address with instructions on how to reset my password, or something like that. I didn't put in my user name.

I tried using the password recovery forum, but it kept hanging though sometimes it did seem to go through, though I didn't get an e-mail from lucas forums.

 

I just got several e-mails form lucas forums, but when I click on the links, it takes me to a page that says I have entered an incorrect e-mail address. I thought this was a little odd, because previously I tried some of my alternative e-mail addresses, and the password recovery form gave me that message that there was no account registered with that e-mail address.

 

It is possible that when I signed up for the user name Zanshin, I used an old e-mail address which is now defunct.
