sometimes the accidents end up being pretty cool huh, well the reason none of my mods are up for download is because I still can't register for pcgamemods.com if I ever figure out how to that is probably where my mods will be!

How did you do the coloring to get those results? Using like a 40 brush diameter and flow set to 100% then using a like 20 or 30 brush diameter for the internal and striping colors throughout it? Or?

They look great btw, I have made some similar to that though I have yet to master the technique of it.

*Edit* Could you post the tga of the saber if that's not a bad thing to ask that is. am trying to master lightsabre modding so I can move on to Armor and then other things. Appreciate any help!

To JackJJackal:

Okay if you are talking about the coloring of the Hippie Blade Jackal for the color I was just screwing around, anyway what I did was go into MSpaint create a new 128x128 pixel image fill in with black and then put a white circle and filled the middle of the circle with black. Then I opened it in a picture editor and messed with the gamma correction and all the colors just popped out..lol

As for the other blade colors I didin't get a quality photo editor until recently, so all my blade colors I made through MSpaint and put into a simple picture editor and blurred them about 5-7 times to get them to blend better and then I stuck them in the game and it was as simple as that.

So in other words as far as photoshop or something I haven't really used it for blade colors because the other method worked great for me, but what I do sounds similar to what you are talking about. I make a big circle of a certain color and then I'll make a circle about half the size of the bigger one and put it right in the middle. Try to use colors that you think will mix good though cause I've made a yellow-purple combo that looked awful so I dunno......LOL

Good Luck,

Mav

a good idea mightbe to get a colour wheel , you usually can pick them up from paint stores , basically just a wheel with colours on it , complimentary colours next to each other , contradictory colours opposite one another

might even be able to find one online , ill take a look see and post any results here
